Haridwar – Place of Kumbh Mela

The amazing temple is dedicated to Goddess Mansa Devi and situated on top of bilva parvat. It is believed that the goddess emerged from the mind of Kashyap Rishi and a temple was built in this region to worship the Goddess. You can also get the complete panoramic view of the city from this place.

Shantikunj Ashram:

The place is the headquarters for All World Gayatri Pariwar that was established in the year 1971 by Acharya Shriram Sharma. You can find many tourists coming from all over the world to practice meditation and spirituality at this location.

Chandi Devi Temple:

The splendid temple is situated on top of Neel Parvat, and it is also believed to be a Siddh Peeth where the desires of devotees will get fulfilled. The main Idol of Chandidevi was established by Adi Shankaracharya in the olden times.

Patanjali Yogpeeth:

The world famous Medical and Research Institute was established by Baba Ramdev in the year 2006. The place is well known for medical research on various health problems, and you can also find the Ayurvedic hospital in this region.

Chilla wildlife sanctuary:

The place covers an area of 249 square kilometers and is located on the eastern banks of Ganga River. You can get to see tigers, elephants along with various animals in the sanctuary. You can enjoy a couple of hours by taking the Jeep Safari at this place.
